We accept donations from individuals, families, and organisations who wish to support our work. Donations may be:

Unrestricted, allowing us to allocate funds where need is greatest, or

Restricted, where donors specify a particular purpose consistent with our charitable objectives

Fundraising Events

Fundraising events play an important role in raising both funds and awareness for Sansaar’s charitable work. These events are undertaken responsibly and are closely aligned with our mission to support children. Below are examples of fund raising events undertaken.

Hijrah Walk Fund Raising Event

Sansaar has undertaken a major trustee-led fundraising initiative in the form of a sponsored Hijrah Walk.

As part of this challenge, a trustee committed to a seven-day, 250-mile (400 km) walk from Mecca to Medina in Saudi Arabia, following the historic Hijrah route. The walk involved covering approximately 30 to 35 miles per day through deserts, valleys, and mountainous terrain.

This challenge was undertaken to:

  • Raise funds for vulnerable and disadvantaged children
  • Increase awareness of Sansaar’s charitable mission
  • Inspire community engagement and charitable giving

The Big Walk to Edinburgh

Sansaar has also undertaken a second major trustee-led fundraising initiative known as The Big Walk to Edinburgh.

This challenge involved a long-distance walk undertaken to raise funds and awareness for children in need. The event required sustained physical effort and personal commitment, demonstrating the trustees’ willingness to lead fundraising efforts through action and service.

The Big Walk to Edinburgh was undertaken to:

  • Generate charitable funds to support children
  • Engage communities along the route and raise awareness
  • Highlight the importance of sustained support for children facing hardship
