Application Form

If you have a charitable cause in mind which is central to helping children and aligns to the type of support we provide, please complete the application form below. All sections should be completed as fully as possible.

Application Form

1. Applicant Details and Primary Contact

This section collects the minimum information Sansaar needs to contact you, verify identity or organisational legitimacy, and maintain an audit trail. It is required for due diligence, safeguarding accountability, and accurate record-keeping. If support is approved, these details also enable safe payment processing and follow-up monitoring.

Primary applicant / organisation name

Main contact person (if an organisation/institution)

Address and location

2. Applicant Type and Route

This section establishes who is applying and ensures Sansaar applies the correct assessment approach, safeguarding expectations, and evidence requirements. It prevents confusion between hardship support (individual/family) and grant-making (charities/institutions), and helps the delegated panel compare like-for-like applications fairly. It also supports Charity Commission expectations that trustees can evidence appropriate decision-making for different forms of support.

3. Summary of Need or Project Request

This is the foundation of the application. It explains what is happening, what support is being requested, and why it is needed now. Sansaar uses this information to understand context, urgency, and alignment with its charitable objects and children-first principles. A clear summary supports fair and efficient assessment. Please provide a clear summary (as if explaining to a trustee who does not know your situation). Include what the need/project is, who is affected, what support is being requested, and why now.

4. Children as Primary Beneficiaries

Sansaar must be able to clearly demonstrate that its support delivers public benefit to children. This section evidences how children will benefit directly or indirectly and is a primary driver of impact scoring by the delegated panel and trustees.

Who are the children who will benefit?

5. Expected Outcomes and How Impact Will Be Measured

This section explains what difference the requested support is expected to make for children. It supports assessment of impact, accountability, and learning, and helps trustees ensure charitable funds are used effectively.

6. Timescales, Duration, and Key Milestones

This section clarifies how long the need or project will last and how long support is required. It ensures proportional, time-appropriate support and enables monitoring.

7. Support Requested and Use of Funds

This section explains exactly what support is being requested and how it will be used, allowing Sansaar to assess proportionality and appropriateness.

8. Declarations, Consent, and Data Protection

This section provides legal and ethical assurance and supports audit and compliance. I confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete. I understand Sansaar will process data in accordance with UK GDPR and may verify information for assessment, safeguarding, and fraud prevention. I
